WHAT WE BELIEVE

Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Streams Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
YOU MATTER
In our community, we realize that even though we may not know everyone, we want everyone to be known. (Psalm 139:13-16)
THE BIBLE
We aim to live like Jesus teaches. His Word gives us clear instructions on how to live and is one of the ways He speaks to us. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
PRAYER
We spend time with God every day and include Him in everything we do, which is necessary to have a relationship with Him. (Jeremiah 29:12-13)
GENEROUS
We intentionally use our resources and giftings to connect people to the love of Jesus. Everyone has something to offer, which is why our church is better together. (Acts 2:42-47)
BEYOND OUR WALLS
Jesus isn’t someone we keep to ourselves, so it’s important to help people know about Jesus so they can have a relationship with Him.

LIFESTYLE
We believe in giving our best to Jesus and living a life that honours Him, the One we passionately worship. (John 4:23-24)
